Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Sanford, NC seeks a Maintenance Tech II to support preventive and reparative maintenance on production equipment.

The role requires adapting to variable hours including weekends and plant shutdowns, and to follow safety guidelines and procedures. You will work with CMMS for work orders, read blueprints, assist with electrical installations, and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of cumulative experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing facility or related industry.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, and testing.
• Familiarity with CMMS and electrical tool usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on process/production equipment as scheduled in CMMS.
• Respond to work orders and provide service and feedback while complying with codes and standards.
• Safely perform duties including lockout/tag out and use of PPE.
• Prepare/complete tasks per supervisor procedures.
• Perform reparative maintenance and assist with electrical installations.
