Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions in Garden Grove, CA is seeking FOOD Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians for the 3rd shift to support production and logistics through repairs, adjustments and improvements of utility equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of maintenance experience, the ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams, forklift/AWP operation, and basic food safety knowledge; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2 years maintenance technician experience required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must drive a forklift and aerial work platform.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams.
• Must know foods safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service request from Production and the other departments.
• Perform appropriate trouble shooting, repair or improvement.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Improve production efficiency, energy consumption, amount of waste, maintenance cost, work safety and work environment with continuous effort.
• Communicate with shift supervisor and coworkers to complete work order.
• Maintain tools, machine parts, supplies and workshop well.
• Input Work Orders using CMMS (eMaint).
• Manage and operate utility equipment including but not limited to electric switch gears, boiler, air compressor, chiller, ventilation.
• Conduct company project helping maintenance manager and related department.
• Regularly checking machinery and equipment for wear and tear, potential issues, and compliance with safety standards.

Job description

A food manufacturing company is seeking some FOOD Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians (3rd shift) to join their team in Garden Grove, CA. This position is responsible for support of production and logistics through repairs, adjustments and improvement of utility equipment. A high school diploma, 2 years of maintenance technician experience, ability to lift 50lbs, ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams, basic knowledge of foods safety. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k.

**Only 3rd shift is available: 3rd shift (10pm to 7am)**
