Jabil is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Line Lead for a Florence, KY location. You will organize line workload and staffing, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery. Strong emphasis on driving changes, coordinating with supervision, and maintaining documentation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing, at least 1 year in a leadership role, and solid communication skills. This role offers multiple shifts and comprehensive benefits with Jabil.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associates degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates line workload and staffing with Assembly Line Supervisor based on product priority.
• Ensures workmanship standards are met and monitors CIQ for rapid issue resolution.
• Minimizes changeover times with organized and planned changeovers.
• Minimizes excess floor material; ensures proper stocking and availability of supplies and equipment.
• Verifies current, authorized documentation on the line.
• Informs employees of deviations or changes; notifies supervisor of issues.
• Drives continuous improvement and ensures line personnel are trained and certified.
• Motivates team through timely feedback and tracks production against deadlines.
• Ensures adherence to policies and procedures; performs other duties as assigned.

Jabil is growing and we are seeking experienced Manufacturing Line Leads to work in one of our locations in Florence, Kentucky. We have needs for multiple different shifts.

Shift schedules are as follows:

• Sunday-Tuesday/Wednesday 6am-6pm (shift 401)

• Sunday-Tuesday/Wednesday 6pm-6am (shift 402) – offers 15% shift differential

• Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday 6am-6pm (shift 403)

• Wednesday/Thursday – Saturday 6am-6pm (shift 404) – offers 15% shift differential

How will you make an impact?

As the Manufacturing Line Lead with Jabil, you will organize the workload for the line, as well as staffing for assembly operations depending on product priority.

What will you do?

• Coordinates with Assembly Line Supervisor and organizes line workload and staffing depending on product priority.

• Ensures work meets or exceeds Jabil workmanship standards and monitors the CIQ system closely in order to fix repetitive and recognized problems immediately.

• Minimize changeover times through organized and well-planned changeovers.

• Minimizes excess material on floor; ensure proper stockage and availability of operation supplies and equipment.

• Verifies that only accurate, current, and authorized documentation is available on the line.

• Informs or instructs employees of any deviations or changes.

• Notifies Manufacturing Supervisor immediately regarding all employee problems, concerns and recommendations.

• Strives for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.

• Ensures line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified and are performing their assigned functions.

• Motivates and challenges all line members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback.

• Tracks production and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.

• Reviews all relevant policies and procedures issued to the line and ensure that appropriate employees read, understand, and adhere to them.

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Advanced PC skills, including training.
