Jabil in Florence, KY is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Line Lead to organize line workload and staffing for assembly operations based on product priority. You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure processes meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include managing changeovers, maintaining documentation, training line personnel, and meeting all production deadlines while fostering teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills, including training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Assembly Line Supervisor and organizes line workload and staffing depending on product priority.
• Ensures work meets or exceeds workmanship standards and monitors CIQ to fix problems quickly.
• Minimize changeover times through organized and well-planned changeovers.
• Minimizes excess material on floor and ensures stock and availability of supplies.
• Verifies that accurate, current, and authorized documentation is on the line.
• Informs employees of deviations or changes and notifies supervisors of issues.
• Strives for continuous improvement and ensures line personnel are trained and certified.
• Motivates line members to perform to their full potential with feedback.
• Tracks production and ensures deadlines and schedules are met.
• Reviews policies and ensures employees read and understand them.
