Job summary

Jabil in Florence, Kentucky, seeks a proactive line lead to guide a team of production operators in achieving quality, schedule, yield, and productivity targets in strict accordance with procedures. You will work with the Manufacturing Supervisor to maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime.

You will mentor operators, monitor hourly production status, and ensure CIQ is correctly applied on the line.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC including Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil's software packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate operators to meet daily production goals.
• Drive line utilization and efficiency with minimum downtime.
• Highlight to supervisor when there is high fallout and maintain production status hourly.
• Identify and develop operators to handle equipment and improve throughput.
• Guide operators in required skills and ensure CIQ is properly implemented.
