Job summary

Jabil in Florence, Kentucky is seeking Manufacturing Line Leads to organize line workload and staffing for assembly operations across multiple shifts, prioritizing product demand.

You will ensure workmanship standards and closely monitor the CIQ system to fix recurring problems, optimize changeovers, and maintain smooth production flow. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate line workload and staffing based on product priority.
• Ensure workmanship standards are met and monitor CIQ to fix issues promptly.
• Minimize changeover times with organized transitions.
• Minimize excess material and ensure availability of supplies/equipment.
• Verify accurate, current documentation on the line.
• Provide guidance to employees on deviations or changes.
• Report employee problems to supervision as needed.
• Support continuous improvement across responsibilities.
• Ensure line personnel are trained and certified.
• Motivate staff with timely feedback and track production schedules.
