Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking candidates for its Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) designed to prepare engineers for technical or leadership roles in its U.S. manufacturing facilities. The program runs 24 to 30 months with rotations across Technical, TPM, Operations, and cross-functional tracks.

Participants will be mentored by seasoned professionals and placed into a full-time Manufacturing Engineer or Technical Leader role at a North American Owens Corning plant after completing the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or relevant major and/or field.
• Willingness and flexibility to relocate (assistance provided).
• Internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and analyze information to solve problems to optimize process.
• Investigate to resolve bottlenecks.
• Use expertise to enhance manufacturing processes, products, and cost efficiency.
• Working effectively and cooperating with others to improve manufacturing processes.
• Developing people leadership and enhancing communication skills.
