Job summary

Owens Corning's Maintenance Manufacturing Leadership Program is a rotational, two-year-plus program designed to build technical and leadership capabilities at multiple US manufacturing sites. Participants will rotate through Maintenance Planning, Leadership, Reliability Engineering, and Capital Project Management, gaining hands-on experience and mentoring from experienced professionals.

The program emphasizes safety, asset management, and data analytics; upon completion, graduates are placed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
Internships or co-ops in glass melting/furnace manufacturing preferred.
Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations

Responsibilities

Engage in preventative maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
Investigate and resolve work in process problems.
Maintain production equipment to meet organizational standards and minimize downtime.
Focus on safety, automation, digitalization, strategic asset management, and data analytics.
Develop skills in safety leadership, project engineering, reliability processes, maintenance planning, and supervisory leadership.
Recommend and implement improvements for operations, equipment, and documentation.
Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Total Productive Maintenance methodologies.
