Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a machined component manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years in supervision/management in a machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure components are produced efficiently and on-time with quality targets.
• Manage assets to support production schedules cost-effectively.
• Monitor and report shop labor efficiencies.
• Coordinate and manage improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Ensure QA standards and preventive/corrective actions when issues arise.
• Oversee MRO, tooling, and manufacturing supply procurement.
• Track subordinates' competencies and provide leadership and training.
• Manage equipment preventive maintenance programs.
• Enforce safety guidelines and conduct periodic safety meetings.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and provide input on department metrics.
