Novo Nordisk in North Carolina seeks an IT Infrastructure professional to oversee operation, maintenance, administration and lifecycle management of key infrastructure systems and platforms at the Clayton site. You will align local activities with global standards to ensure reliability, availability and regulatory compliance within FDA guidelines.

You will collaborate with system managers, engineers and IT security, apply patching and backup procedures, participate in audits, and support IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of five years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft OS, Linux OS, Networking principles and IT Security concepts preferred.
• Experience with environments of 300+ servers and 2000+ workstations preferred.
• Experience with System Monitoring Tools, Domain Services, Backup Solutions and Disaster Recovery Processes preferred.

Responsabilités

• Act as participant on capacity expansion projects to ensure alignment of global and local standards.
• Evaluate existing systems and design proposed systems to ensure lifecycle management.
• Ensure installation, troubleshooting and qualification of infrastructure systems meets local and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in investigations and responses to IT security and support incidents.
• Ensure security patches are deployed according to patching procedures and manufacturing needs.
• Plan, test and execute backup and recovery procedures for supported servers.
