Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks an experienced IT leader to manage system support, strategic IT goals, and 24/7 operations for manufacturing IT applications. You will guide SMEs, drive improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance to support site production and expansion.

You will supervise teams, collaborate with global stakeholders, and develop KPIs and IT strategies aligned with site goals, ensuring scalable, reliable IT services on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field; 7+ years IT/automation experience.
• Alternate: Associate’s Degree with 10 years IT/automation experience; GMP manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of people leadership or project management leadership experience.
• Experience leading and setting up 24/7 IT support teams; project management and lifecycle management.
• GxP documentation practices, regulatory audits and inspections preferred.
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing technologies, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMEs to maintain a high-performing IT team environment.
• Drive LEAN improvements and KPIs across IT functions.
• Develop training, coaching, and performance management for IT staff.
• Define and implement KPIs for IT areas of responsibility.
• Lead technical discussions, problem solving, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including DK.
• Mentor colleagues and provide guidance for career development.
• Set strategic direction for site IT assets and explore new technologies.
