Job summary

Novo Nordisk seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to oversee operation, maintenance and lifecycle management of key infrastructure systems and platforms at our Clayton, NC site. You will collaborate with IT, automation and security teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and robust disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities include system monitoring, backup planning, security patching and incident response, with opportunities to participate in site capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education & experience required.
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft OS, Linux OS, Networking principles & concepts of IT Security preferred.
• Experience in environments with more than 300 servers & 2000 workstations preferred.
• Experience in System Monitoring Tools, Domain Services, Backup Solutions, Deployment of Virtualized Servers, Patch Management & IT Security preferred.
• Strong technical background in IT Infrastructure systems & networking preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations & 21 CFR Part 11 related to computer-based systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate infrastructure systems & platforms: maintenance, administration & lifecycle management.
• Support IT security and respond to incidents with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure installation and troubleshooting meets local and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, test & execute backup and recovery procedures for servers.
• Manage user accounts and access controls per company policy.
• Collaborate with engineers and auditors during audits and inspections.
• Maintain and document IT infrastructure processes and procedures.
