Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking an engineer to ensure process control systems align with local and global standards across existing and new equipment. You will work with vendors and manufacturing teams to connect equipment to the site network, spec IFA’s, and implement changes for compliance.

This role involves audits, project collaboration, and ongoing self-development within a safety-conscious, growth-oriented environment that supports long-term impact on patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in engineering within process-based manufacturing, utilities, or packaging systems.
• Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; SAP EWM a plus.
• Ability to translate direction into actionable tasks using LEAN/Six Sigma.
• Logistics role bonus: familiarity with warehouse automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems.
• Coordinate with manufacturing schedules to execute plans.
• Serve as automation resource on projects involving process control systems.
• Ensure compliance with automation standards and update specs & maintenance plans.
• Support audits and inspections of process control systems.
• Apply LEAN/Six Sigma tools for problem solving and improvements.
