Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Manufacturing Digitalization Lead in Dayton to drive Industry 4.0 initiatives and IoT adoption across plants. You will lead end-to-end projects, engage multi-site teams, and deliver measurable business outcomes on time and within budget.

The role requires strong PLC, automation, and software skills, plus a track record of delivering digital improvements in automotive manufacturing. Collaboration with IT and regional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; master's preferred.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience in automotive or mechatronics.
• AGV experience strongly preferred.
• PLC systems expertise: Siemens, KUKA, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated first point of contact for manufacturing digitalization.
• Manage end-to-end projects, on time and within budget.
• Establish governance, coordinate stakeholders and teams.
• Support cross-functional digitalization and IoT/IIoT initiatives.
• Provide ROI, KPI calculations for IoT/Industry 4.0 projects.
