Job summary
BOSCH-HC is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineering Lead to drive the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of automation across manufacturing operations. You will lead robotics, PLC controls, HMI/SCADA, and smart manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and quality.
The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing automation with strong leadership, project management, and experience with MES and industrial networking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Automation, or related) or combination education and experience.
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, automation, or related experience.
- 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience managing automation and capital equipment projects.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems: PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.), HMI/SCADA, robotics and vision systems, industrial networking, MES.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing automation roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Manage capital projects involving robotics, automated assembly, and process automation.
- Oversee PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial network systems.
- Ensure safety, lean manufacturing, and TPM practices.
- Drive OEE improvement, throughput, quality, and cost reductions.
