Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant focused on manufacturing and inventory to join our finance team in O'Fallon, MO. You will own inventory accounting, support month-end close, and help ensure GAAP-compliant reporting while collaborating with operations and purchasing to resolve discrepancies.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing accounting experience and is proficient with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP, plus advanced Excel skills for cost analysis, COGS, and inventory movements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Manufacturing environment accounting experience.
• Inventory accounting and month-end close experience.
• Familiar with GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with Dynamics GP or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and journal entries.
• Perform inventory reconciliations and reporting.
• Assist with COGS and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
