Jobot is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a manufacturing company backed by private equity. You will oversee month-end close, GAAP reporting, and inventory costing while leading a small team and partnering with operations and finance to improve processes.

Success requires hands-on accounting experience in manufacturing, strong internal controls, ERP proficiency, and the ability to deliver timely, accurate financial information to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience in manufacturing/inventory environment.
• Experience supervising accounting staff preferred.
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
• Strong GAAP, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsabilités

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close with GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries and accruals.
• Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing, COGS, variances, valuation.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
• Analyze results, explain variances, provide insights to leadership.
• Coordinate external audits, support tax/compliance requirements.
• Lead and develop accounting staff, promote accuracy and accountability.
• Collaborate with operations and finance to improve visibility and decisions.
• Support private equity reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs.
• Optimize systems, reporting tools, and processes for growth.
