Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and assist with monthly and year-end close. You will work closely with finance and operational teams to maintain accurate records and improve processes.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, financial reporting, and coordination with vendors and departments. Strong Excel and ERP experience are preferred in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting software, and Excel.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile financial transactions across AP, AR, and GL.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Process vendor invoices, expenses, and payroll-related transactions.
• Maintain account coding and ensure policy compliance.
• Support audits by providing documentation and responses.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to improve processes.
