Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Tool Room Clerk in Elk Grove, CA to support the Maintenance Department with inventory control, parts procurement, and CMMS recordkeeping. This contract-to-hire role requires careful data entry, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, issuing parts, maintaining CMMS work orders, and coordinating with vendors. Forklift experience and familiarity with maintenance environments are helpful.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 apps (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Experience with CMMS software preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming parts and materials.
• Issue parts to maintenance technicians and track usage.
• Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering of parts.
