Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to optimize the inventory on the manufacturing floor and collaborate with production, supply chain, and engineering for accurate stock levels.

You will develop and oversee standardized inventory controls, manage bin locations, perform cycle counts, and report material transactions to the ERP system, ensuring accurate, timely availability of parts and materials for production.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in supply chain, warehousing, bin stocking, and production planning.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Excel features.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Process development and oversight: implement standardized inventory control processes on the production floor.
• Bin stock management: create and maintain bin locations, label parts and bins, perform cycle counts.
• Material flow: monitor manufactured components, expedite as needed, report material transactions to ERP systems.
