Job summary

Cox Engineering's Cambridgeport division in Randolph, MA is seeking an Inventory Controller to oversee inventory accuracy, stock levels, and ERP transactions within our manufacturing facility.

You will implement an effective inventory management system, conduct cycle counts, manage receipts and transfers, and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, Quality and Operations to ensure availability and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and inventory transactions.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and related apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily inventory levels to ensure stock availability.
• Develop and improve inventory control system and procedures.
• Perform ERP transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, issues and returns.
• Maintain inventory bins, locations, part numbers, and storage organization in the ERP.
• Carry out cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory counts and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Shipping/Receiving, Quality and Operations to ensure accuracy.
• Provide inventory reports and communicate trends to management.
• Support continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and cost reduction.
