You will oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, and month-end close, while leading a team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You do not need to be a CPA; the role emphasizes hands-on manufacturing accounting knowledge and leadership to own the broader accounting function.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing accounting and standard costing.
• Ability to lead a team and own close processes.
• Strong understanding of inventory valuation and COGS.
• Comfort partnering with operations and senior finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close and general accounting function.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Oversee inventory valuation and standard costing.
• Analyze manufacturing and cost variances.
• Ensure accurate COGS and inventory accounting.
• Lead and develop accounting staff.
• Oversee AP and AR.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance.
• Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.
• Participate in ERP and process-improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with senior finance leadership.
