The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of accounting leadership, strong inventory/cost accounting background, and a track record in equipment sales or related fields, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience.
• Significant inventory and cost accounting experience.
• Experience in equipment sales, rental, service, or inventory-driven business.
• Strong ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC preferred.
• Strong financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement skills.
• Hands-on leadership balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and finance operations while developing the accounting team.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Develop management reports, KPIs, and department-level profitability and margin analysis.
• Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, reconciliation, and cost accounting across operations.
• Improve financial controls, processes, workflows, and reporting accuracy.
• Serve as ERP resource, optimizing system functionality, automation, and reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, debt, taxes, audits, and compliance.
• Partner with ownership and leadership on budgeting and strategic financial initiatives.
