Job summary

Leoforce in O’Fallon, MO is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant with manufacturing and inventory accounting experience to join our finance team. The role supports month-end close, GL reconciliations, inventory valuation, and ERP data integrity using Microsoft Dynamics GP.

You will collaborate with operations and purchasing to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements, while contributing to internal controls and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Hands-on inventory accounting, GL reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP system.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting ability.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform GL and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with financial statement prep and management reporting.
• Analyze inventory movements and COGS within ERP.
• Collaborate with operations/purchasing to resolve discrepancies.
