Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field; Master’s or CPA desirable
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting principles
• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate strategy into operations
• Excellent communication at all levels, with strong written and spoken skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting department operations and design an effective organizational structure
• Direct and coordinate all accounting functions
• Manage consolidation of financial data for accurate business results
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements
• Coordinate activities with external auditors
• Implement controls, procedures and forms for fixed assets recordation
• Advise management on liquidity planning
• Oversee fiscal reporting activities
• Implement operational best practices
• Ensure compliance with government reporting and tax filings
