Job summary

Tomball Controls, LLC is seeking an Human Resources Manager to lead HR at our manufacturing facility. You’ll drive recruitment, develop employee relations, ensure compliance, and support performance management to align HR with operations.

Responsibilities include onboarding, training, safety collaboration, and reporting on key HR metrics. Travel between Von Ormy, Pleasanton, and Seguin may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• SHRM/PHR certification is a plus.
• 5+ years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Staffing: develop and execute hiring strategies for production and technical roles.
• Employee Relations: foster a positive work environment and handle grievances with policy.
• Compliance & Safety: ensure compliance with OSHA, FMLA, EEOC and safety initiatives.
• Training & Development: coordinate onboarding and ongoing training programs.
• Performance Management: implement appraisal systems and coach managers.
• Compensation and Benefits: administer benefits and conduct market analyses.
• HR Systems & Reporting: maintain HRIS records and generate leadership reports.
