Job summary

HRU-Tech is seeking an HR Labor Relations Specialist in Arlington, TX. This onsite role supports hourly manufacturing staff, interprets labor agreements, and handles employee relations with union representatives.

The position involves 1st–3rd shift coverage and a 6‑month assignment with potential extension or direct hire. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in HR/Labor Relations, strong knowledge of policies and investigations, and experience in a unionized setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, labor relations, or related field required.
• 3–4 years of HR/labor relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law and employee relations.
• Experience interpreting collective bargaining agreements and managing grievances.
• Experience with manufacturing HR processes and unionized environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor relations and employee relations support for hourly manufacturing workforce.
• Interpret and administer labor agreements, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain relationships with union officials and employee representatives.
• Investigate grievances and workplace investigations.
• Coach leaders on performance management and corrective actions.
• Support workforce data, HR metrics, and reporting.
• Assist with onboarding and talent development initiatives.
• Support multi‑shift operations across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
