Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our HR team in Beacon, NY. This part-time role (24 hours per week) provides hands-on experience across onboarding, recruitment support, HR administration, compliance, payroll support, and employee relations within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Under the guidance of the HR Director, you will assist with I-9 documentation, HR records, orientation, timekeeping, and ad hoc reporting while developing practical HR knowledge and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize employee files and HR records.
• Assist with I-9 documentation and audits for compliance.
• Support onboarding activities and new hire orientation sessions.
• Help with recruitment tracking, postings and candidate coordination.
• Assist with payroll support, timekeeping, and HR reporting tasks.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
