Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an HR Generalist in Kenosha, WI to oversee core HR functions including recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and training coordination. This role partners with department leaders to support workforce development and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities include leading full-cycle recruiting, administering benefits and 401(k), and ensuring legal compliance in a 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; food industry experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting a 24/7 production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts.
• Administer employee benefits, payroll, PTO, and 401(k) programs.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate employee training, certifications, cross-training, and development programs.
• Manage attendance programs and staffing needs, including contract labor.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment laws.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain HR records and collaborate with leadership on workforce planning.
