Job summary

KMC Stampings is seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Port Washington, WI to own full-cycle recruiting and partner with leaders on workforce planning, retention, and HR programs. You will help strengthen the employee experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes compliance, employee engagement, and delivering practical HR solutions while maintaining strong relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or related field.
• Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred.
• Ability to organize competing priorities and manage projects.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and judgment skills.
• Working knowledge of HR principles and administrative processes.
• Positive interpersonal skills that build trust and credibility.
• Ability to adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for non-exempt and support exempt positions.
• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and define job duties and descriptions.
• Source qualified candidates via networks, job boards, social media, and other channels.
• Build relationships with schools, universities, alumni groups and community organizations.
• Collaborate on retention initiatives to improve the employee experience.
• Oversee performance review processes to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives and practical solutions.
• Respond to employee inquiries about HR policies and programs.
