Empire Bakery Commissary, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with production leadership and employees to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and workforce development.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, knowledgeable of employment laws, and experienced with ADP Human Capital Management systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now required.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in ADP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary HR contact for employee questions and issues.
• Foster positive employee relations and support a culture of respect and accountability.
• Conduct investigations regarding employee complaints, policy violations, and workplace concerns.
• Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations matters and company policies.
• Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for hourly positions.
• Conduct interviews, background checks, and pre-employment screening.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Maintain and update job postings through recruiting platforms.
• Process new hires, terminations, transfers, and employee status changes using ADP.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Administer employee leave programs including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
• Educate employees regarding available benefit programs and coordinate changes with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain I-9 documentation.
• Track training completion and maintain records; assist with performance review processes and development plans.
• Partner with leadership to address staffing needs and workforce planning initiatives.
