Qualifications

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our bakery team, dedicated to fostering a positive and compliant work environment. In this role, you will oversee a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance management. Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through HR systems such as ATS platforms like Lever, iCIMS, or Workday; coordinate interviews and facilitate onboarding processes to ensure seamless employee orientation.
• Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns promptly, mediating conflicts effectively, and fostering a collaborative environment aligned with company values.
• Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation claims, and FMLA leave to support employee well-being.
• Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws by maintaining accurate records, conducting audits, and implementing policies related to HR legal compliance and regulatory standards.
• Support performance management initiatives through employee evaluation processes, training & development programs, and succession planning activities to promote continuous growth.
• Oversee HRIS data entry and analysis using systems such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors for accurate personnel administration and workforce management reporting.
• Coordinate project management tasks related to organization design, affirmative action planning, and HR sourcing strategies to optimize staffing efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in human resources management within a manufacturing or bakery environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and HR legal compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition techniques including recruiting strategies and ATS utilization such as UltiPro or Kenexa BrassRing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel for data analysis—and familiarity with HR systems like Kronos or UltiPro for payroll processing and timekeeping.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly while managing employee relations effectively.
• Project management skills with experience in organization design, change management initiatives, and strategic planning processes.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in administrative tasks such as data collection and report generation.
