Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• 1–2 years HR experience.
• Knowledge of HR principles and practices; HRIS preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication; strong interpersonal skills; computer literacy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and hiring of hourly personnel and coordination with temporary agencies.
• Orientation of new hires and temporaries.
• Training on policies, plant procedures, discipline and employee relations.
• Maintain plant and office bulletin boards and legal postings.
• Main contact for manufacturing guidance.
• Administer 401k enrollments and benefits questions.
• Maintain HR compliance with ISO certification.
• Coordinate hourly plant restructuring and layoffs per policy.
• Policy interpretation and effective communication with all levels of the organization.
