Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking an HR Generalist to support our manufacturing sites, primarily Rockdale, IL, with travel to other locations. This role partners with leaders to drive engagement, ensure compliance, and support talent acquisition and onboarding.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, at least five years of HR experience, proficient in MS Office and HRIS, and capability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance to employees and support site leadership.
• Oversee employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Participate in labor relations and union support as needed.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and onboarding processes.
• Support HR projects, performance management, succession planning, and data reporting.
• Manage HRIS processes for assigned locations and ensure compliance.
