Job summary

Sun Chemical, a member of the DIC Group, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist primarily to support the Rockdale, IL site and assist with HR across other assigned manufacturing locations. The role focuses on employee engagement, policy guidance, and high-performing workforce development.

Travel up to 25% is required to provide HR support at other sites. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least five years of HR experience, with proficiency in HRIS and MS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in human resources.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, an HRIS and automated time and attendance platform.

Responsibilities

Provide general guidelines regarding company policies, procedures and practices to employees.
Oversee employee relations issues, disciplinary meetings, and investigations to ensure fair application of policies.
May assist HR Manager with labor relations issues and participate in contract negotiations for assigned sites.
Lead employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
Partner with Global Talent Management to manage recruitment and onboarding.
