Job summary

Modineer Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our Aiken, SC facility. This full-time role reports to Plant Management and requires a focus on delivering HR services across the full employee lifecycle—from recruiting to termination.

You will support performance reviews, handle benefits inquiries, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), ADP, and/or other HR/Payroll/Time & Attendance software.
• Ability to interact effectively with employees across all levels of the business.
• Honesty, trustworthiness, and high accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provides HR services across the full employee life cycle from recruiting to termination.
• Demonstrates high customer-service and professional communication.
• Interprets and applies Company policies and the Employee Handbook.
• Creates Employee Action Reports for payroll and HR actions.
• Assists with performance reviews and improvement plans.
• Investigates employee concerns and works with supervisors to resolve issues.
• Supports PTO and timekeeping activities for payroll and attendance.
• Monitors leaves of absence (ADA & FMLA) and safety/work comp processes.
