Job summary

Aero Industries Inc is seeking a full-time HR Generalist to support employees and leaders across departments in our Indianapolis facility. The role will manage day-to-day HR activities including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and compliance while staying engaged on the manufacturing floor.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of HR experience, a bachelor’s degree in HR/related field, and strong knowledge of HR laws.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience supporting employee relations, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including onboarding and offers.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
• Ability to coach and advise supervisors and managers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for assigned departments and employee groups.
• Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, document findings, and partner with leadership.
• Coach supervisors on attendance, performance, and corrective action.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for assigned positions.
• Coordinate onboarding and lifecycle changes including transfers and promotions.
• Support attendance programs and leave administration (FMLA, ADA).
• Support performance reviews, development plans, and training.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with compensation processes, benefits inquiries, and HRIS records.
