Deceuninck North America seeks an HR Generalist at its Monroe, OH headquarters. The role provides day-to-day HR support to employees and leaders, serving as a primary contact for questions and supporting a broad range of HR activities including employee relations, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.

The HR Generalist works closely with employees, supervisors, and managers to ensure policies are applied consistently while building relationships across the organization.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of Human Resources experience required, 3-5 years preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or hourly workforce environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, attendance administration, and performance management preferred.
• Experience using an HRIS; Paycor experience is a plus.
• SHRM CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.

Mansioni

• Serve as a day to day HR resource for employees, supervisors, and managers regarding policies, procedures, workplace concerns, and general HR questions.
• Support employee relations matters, including investigations, documenting findings, and recommending steps in partnership with HR leadership.
• Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance, attendance, corrective action, and policy application.
• Assist with corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and other employee documentation.
• Promote consistent and fair application of company policies and practices.
• Administer attendance programs and review records with leadership on action thresholds.
• Process new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and required documentation.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on staffing needs and onboarding.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Ensure HRIS information is completed accurately and timely.
• Support efforts to improve new hire retention and onboarding experience.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity through audits and reports.
• Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics related to staffing, turnover, attendance, and retention.
• Identify trends and communicate findings to HR and leadership.
• Support performance management processes and training tracking.
• Assist with training needs and career development initiatives.
• Support employee engagement activities and communications.
• Maintain a visible HR presence across departments and shifts.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Assist with benefits administration and payroll research when needed.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide backup support to HR team.
