Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR needs across three locations, focusing on employee relations and employment law. The role involves onboarding, investigations, and full-cycle recruiting, with travel to IN and WV as needed and onsite at Georgetown, KY.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in HR (employee relations, investigations) and a strong knowledge of employment law; SHRM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in HR with emphasis on employee relations, investigations, and performance improvement plans.
• Strong knowledge of employment law; experience in manufacturing/warehousing.
• Willing to travel up to 25%; onsite in Georgetown, KY; compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as employee advocate and liaison between management and employees to resolve problems.
• Educate and coach management to align with company HR policies and culture.
• Serve as primary contact for employee complaints; ensure policies and hotlines are accessible.
• Report harassment, discrimination, and regulatory violations to HR Management/Legal.
• Conduct investigations as directed by HR Management/Legal.
• Advise local management on requests to suspend/terminate employees and advise on corrective actions.
• Assist with staffing and full cycle recruiting from requisitions to onboarding.
• Assist employees with payroll or benefits questions, liaising with payroll staff.
• Manage LOA cases and stay updated on state/local laws; apply FMLA and ADA knowledge.
• Support talent development activities and succession planning with HR management.
• Stay informed on local/state employment laws and advise on business impact.
• Coordinate with Legal on visa/work authorization needs.
• Manage workers' compensation incident reporting and case management.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality of company information.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
