Job summary

EnPower, Inc. in Indianapolis seeks an HR Generalist to administer recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and HR operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

You will partner with management, support multi-site operations, maintain confidential files, run HR reports, administer leave programs, and contribute to policy development in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. SHRM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Three or more years of human resources experience.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace issues.
• Administer recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, background checks, and onboarding coordination.
• Assist managers with performance management, professional development plans, goal setting, and performance plans.
• Investigate employee relations concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in accordance with legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality.
• Administer leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other leave requests.
• Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support decision-making.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and recognition activities.
• Assist with policy development and implementation.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
