Job summary

VirTra, based in Chandler, AZ, seeks an HR leader to oversee all human resources activities in a manufacturing setting. You will drive compliance with OFCCP/OSHA/FLSA/FMLA, manage payroll and benefits, and lead policy governance with a hands-on, strategic approach.

The role requires broad HR operations experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to partner with executive leadership to mitigate risk and support workforce strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll system required.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations focusing on regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and program governance.
• Oversee HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and policy implementation.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal government contract requirements and wage/benefit regulations.
• Develop and monitor HR metrics to support data-driven decisions.
• Drive organizational development, succession planning, and performance management.
