Job summary

General Motors Manufacturing Group in Spring Hill, TN is seeking motivated individuals for Group Leader opportunities in Production, Quality, or Global Supply Chain. You will lead teams, drive operational excellence, and champion safety and quality.

You’ll oversee daily operations, develop processes, and apply SPQRCE priorities. Candidates should have supervisory experience, strong problem‑solving, and the ability to work weekends and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of direct supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal GM per diem group leader.
• Experience managing, leading people, and addressing performance concerns.
• Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict, and decision making.
• Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems.
• Basic computer proficiency (i.e. Word, typing, email).
• Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond promptly to the manufacturing daily plan, making necessary adjustments to operations as required
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Possess the experience to manage change and navigate ambiguity
• Drive accountability through people and processes which may require difficult conversations
