Job summary

This role requires clear verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to drive improvements in methods, equipment, and processes; 1–2 years of experience and UAW familiarity are a plus; shifts rotate across 1st–3rd.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in production or related field.
• Experience in a union environment (UAW) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems and analyze production data to detect problems.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff and address personnel issues.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
