Chart, Inc. in New Prague, MN is seeking a General Laborer for the day shift to support manufacturing processes. This role focuses on blasting, grinding, and assisting department welders with various tank assembly tasks.

Responsibilities include operating cranes, forklifts, and manlifts, applying logos to vessels, and helping prepare vessels for hydro testing while maintaining records and safety practices. Eligible for PTO, health benefits, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Understanding and use of basic blueprints preferred.
• Able to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Familiar and comfortable with hand and power tools.
• Ability to use and understand various measuring devices.
• Readily takes action on challenges and with a “can do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts and manlifts.
• Blast and grind plate for internal customers.
• Apply logos and decals to vessels.
• Prepare vessels for hydro testing (positioning, filling with water, pressurizing & testing).
• Maintain production and inspection records.
• Assist with vessel or sub-assembly assembly.
• Maintain testing equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.
• May work in other areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
