Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Manufacturing FP&A Finance Partner to lead forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning across the manufacturing network. This role provides significant exposure to executives and drives financial insights that influence operational decisions.

You will analyze performance, develop cost models, and support capital planning while partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 6+ years in FP&A, Manufacturing Finance, Cost Accounting, Plant Finance, or Operations Finance in manufacturing.
• Strong budgeting/forecasting and cost accounting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, OneStream, Planful, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long‑range planning for manufacturing operations.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain leaders to analyze financial performance and KPIs.
• Support plant P&Ls by identifying cost drivers and improvement opportunities.
• Develop financial models supporting productivity initiatives and strategic decisions.
• Oversee standard cost updates, cost rollups, and COGS modeling.
• Analyze variances including material, labor, overhead, PPV, scrap, and inventory absorption.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve operational visibility.
