Carolina Professional Recruiting Group is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with leadership, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic financial support for multi-site manufacturing operations.

You will drive monthly results and management reporting, analyze operating performance, and lead process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience in manufacturing or distribution industries.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, inventory management, standard costs, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience supporting plant leadership and operating in a matrixed global organization.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).
• Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.

Responsabilités

• Lead the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting activities, and long-range financial planning for multiple manufacturing sites.
• Prepare and present monthly financial results, variance analyses, and management reporting packages to site and corporate leadership.
• Partner with plant leadership to analyze operational performance, manufacturing costs, labor utilization, material usage, and KPIs.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support capital expenditures, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to enhance productivity, improve margins, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with internal and external audits and coordinate responses to audit requests.
• Analyze trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
• Support company strategic projects, such as acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital projects analysis.
