Carolina Professional Recruiting Group is seeking an Operations Accounting Manager to lead cost accounting and manufacturing finance across North American facilities. You will partner with operations and plant leadership to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting while driving cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or cost accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting processes including standard costing and product costing.
• Manage monthly close for inventory, manufacturing ops, and COGS.
• Analyze variances in materials, labor, and overhead; provide actionable insights.
• Partner with plant managers to improve profitability and productivity.
• Oversee inventory controls, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Mentor accounting staff and drive process improvements.
