Job summary

Ledgent is seeking a strategic Controller to lead Finance and oversee multiple operational departments. This high-visibility role focuses on driving financial performance, improving processes, developing teams, and using data to influence business decisions.

You will lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, while partnering across functions to enhance customer experience and operational results. Strong manufacturing finance background required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance leadership.
• Manufacturing background with month-end close ownership.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Cost accounting/job costing background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Analyze profitability, cost drivers, inventory, and operational performance to support business decisions.
• Develop KPIs, scorecards, and financial insights for executive leadership.
• Lead and develop teams across different lines of business.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and system enhancements.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve both customer experience and business performance.
• Serve as the primary contact for auditors, banking partners, and external advisors.
