Job summary

ResourceMFG, part of EmployBridge, is seeking a Business Development Manager in Austin, TX to build a manufacturing-focused sales pipeline and win new logos.

You will prospect in-field, visit plants, and engage HR and production leaders to deliver consultative workforce solutions with a focus on safety, productivity, and talent retention. Base salary plus commission, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience required.
• Proven success generating new accounts.
• Understand production workflows and workforce demand.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Salesforce experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development: 70% in-field prospecting, 30% account management.
• Engage manufacturing clients via calls, site visits, social outreach, and email.
• Build pipeline of plant managers, production leaders, and HR partners.
• Use labor market intel to identify turnover, skills gaps, productivity challenges.
• Provide consultative account management focusing on safety and workforce optimization.
• Win net new logos and grow the manufacturing-focused territory.
