Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Salisbury, NC seeks a production associate to join our manufacturing team. You will train on equipment, assist with loading and unloading materials, and keep work areas clean and compliant with procedures.

The role supports a fast-paced factory environment with an emphasis on safety and reliability. The position requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow OSHA/EPA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a safety conscious industrial environment with PPE.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and regulations.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
